Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern sales made by Une Bouchée A Day (EI – Aine DOUGHERTY) via the website www.uneboucheeaday.com and/or by quotation.

Article 1 – Products & Services

Ephemeral pastries (limited batches), catering and event services, workshops and language (English) courses. Descriptions, prices, and availability are displayed on the site or in the quotation. Photos are for illustration only.

Article 2 – Orders

Placing an order via the website or quote implies full acceptance of these T&Cs. The sale is confirmed once payment is received and an email confirmation is sent. For tailor‑made services, details (location, schedule, dietary restrictions) may be requested; the seller reserves the right to decline orders incompatible with technical or sanitary constraints.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are in euros. VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (micro‑enterprise status). Prices may change at any time; the applicable rate is that in effect at the time of ordering.

Article 4 – Payment

Payments are made using the methods available on the website (e.g., Wix payment gateway) or specified in the quotation. Full payment may be required upon ordering for ephemeral goods. For services, a deposit (typically 30–50%) may be required and is non‑refundable in case of late cancellation (see Art. 7). Orders are only prepared or scheduled once payment is confirmed.

Article 5 – Delivery / Pickup / On‑site Services

  • Products: pickup at scheduled times or delivery (if available within defined areas; delivery fees may apply).

  • Catering/Event: performed at the agreed location/date; client must provide adequate access and facilities as per quote.

  • Delays are indicative only; Une Bouchée A Day cannot be held liable for delays caused by force majeure or incomplete/incorrect client information.
     

Article 6 – Allergens & Storage

Products may contain allergens (gluten, eggs, milk, nuts, etc.). Information is available on request. The client is responsible for compliance with storage conditions and use‑by dates indicated.
 

Article 7 – Cancellation / Withdrawal

  • Perishable goods: under Article L221‑28 of the French Consumer Code, no right of withdrawal applies.

  • Workshops/courses and dated services: cancellations allowed up to 7 days before the scheduled date; beyond that, the deposit is retained to cover expenses.

  • Rescheduling possible subject to availability and written agreement.
     

Article 8 – Complaints & Mediation

Complaints should be sent to: uneboucheeaday@gmail.com.
If no amicable solution is found, consumers may contact the official mediation body:

Article 9 – Liability

Une Bouchée A Day shall not be held responsible for indirect damages or non‑compliance with product storage or handling instructions. In any case, liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.
 

Article 10 – Intellectual Property

All recipes, visuals, and content remain the property of Une Bouchée A Day. Any reproduction or commercial use without prior authorization is prohibited.
 

Article 11 – Personal Data

Client data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.
 

Article 12 – Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute and after mediation, jurisdiction is granted to the competent French courts.
